A residential lobby that greets residents like a boutique hotel — book-matched marble, a sculpture of flying butterflies and a quiet field of pampas grass in relief.
THE BRIEF
The Carla's entrance needed to set the tone for the whole building. A dramatic wall of book-matched dark marble rises behind the lounge, crowned by a metal butterfly installation that seems to lift off the stone.
A marble reception desk with a bold diagonal cut, a curved sofa in grey with mustard accents, and a sculpted pampas-grass wall soften the arrival. The lift lobby continues the story with marble portals and warm linear lighting. The project was fully executed by Black Opal.
