A passenger lounge rethought as a calm, welcoming interior — light stone, timber-slatted ceilings, living green walls and soft, sculptural seating in place of rows of benches.
THE BRIEF
The brief was to transform a functional transit space into somewhere people are comfortable waiting. Pale porcelain floors and timber ceiling slats bring warmth and acoustic softness, while full-height glazing keeps the lounge bright.
Integrated planters double as seating, upholstered booths line the walls and a moss feature wall frames the reception. Terracotta poufs and rounded lounge chairs add a human scale — proof that public infrastructure can feel considered and generous.
