PRIVATE VILLA — ABU DHABI
LOCATIONAbu Dhabi, UAESECTORRESIDENTIALSCOPEInterior Design
A villa built around a living tree — a sculptural olive in a marble plinth at the heart of a double-height hall, beneath a cascade of lily-pad lights.
THE BRIEF
The brief was a calm, contemporary villa with a strong central idea. A mature tree rises from a marble plinth in the entrance hall, visible from the staircase and the living areas around it.
A sunken lounge with a fireplace wall, a floating staircase, warm stone and timber, and a dining room with sculptural linear lighting give the home a serene, gallery-like flow.
