A grand villa entrance in white marble and dark timber — a cantilevered staircase with a bronze soffit floats above an indoor garden beneath a glowing glass sphere.
THE BRIEF
The brief was a statement entrance hall. A double-height space in white marble is framed by dark timber and patterned stone panels, with a sculptural staircase rising over a planted garden.
Green velvet armchairs, round statement tables and soft lounge pieces create intimate seating groups within the large volume, while art and lighting give the hall a museum-like calm.
