Old Damascus in a modern dining room — cobalt-blue arched windows, a stone arch framing a whirling-dervish mural, patterned tiles and a ceiling trellis of greenery.
THE BRIEF
Allo Sham needed an interior that captures the spirit of the Syrian capital without becoming a pastiche. Deep blue joinery, arched windows and hand-painted tiles set a vivid, heritage-inspired palette.
A grand stone arch frames an artwork of a whirling dervish, giving the room movement and meaning, while lanterns and a planted timber trellis overhead create a courtyard feeling inside.
